The evening of 20th August we spent in Balatonfüred, where there is always a vine-fest at this time. You should know that in summer it’s worth to visit this area, especially Balatonalmádi, Csopak, Balatonfüred and Badacsony; because you can easily find a good fest to taste Hungarian vines.
I especially recommend you to taste Badacsonyi Nektár which is a sweet one – best after cycling since hours :)

- Kékkút – where you can taste the mineral water of this place for free, just have to find the fountain :)
- Szentbékkála, Köveskál – the so called “kőtenger” (stone-see) is also nice for having a walking trip

- and Badacsony again :) – also because you can have a nice view from here to Lake Balaton
- Szigliget – with its nice castle (check this: http://www.szigliget.hu/)
- and last but not least: Vonyarcvashegy and Keszthely (where I spent most of my summers) – if you are here you should go to Miska domb (domb = hill) and just lay down for a while in one of the evenings of August… and just wait… and for sure you will see falling stars… this is my favourite relaxing place…
From the other side of Lake Balaton I don’t really want to name towns…by bicycle I think you will also make it in one day… just I like I did before…
Anyway you should also make a trip around here…but don’t forget about a good team… :)
